Forge Affiliate Summit Wrap Up
Well, we’re all finally back in action after a very successful Affiliate Summit event in Las Vegas last week. For me (Jim), it was only a 4 1/2 hour flight back home, after which I got the flu and was laid up for 24 hours. However, for the rest of the Forge crew, I think they had a flight that was about 20-something hours back to South Africa?
I think you’re all back by now eh?
So what happened in Vegas? A lot! Here’s a quick summary:
Forge Has New Branding!
In case you haven’t noticed, our new VP of Sales/Marketing (Martin) put his touches on the Forge brand right before the show. Everything changed, and I mean everything, and it looks great.
New ForgeBusiness.com
New ForgeCorporation.com
Plus we had an entirely new booth, brochure, cards, shirts, etc… It all looks great. I’m trying to get my hands on a photo and will publish it as soon as I can.
Awards & Presentations
Our fearless leader Jonathan Miller, and myself, both gave presentations during the show. Jon’s was about navigating the social networking scene with tools like Digg and Myspace, and mine was about bloggers as the new super-affiliates. According to the word on the street, Forge represented by presenting two of the best rated presentations at the show
Also, I won the Affiliate Summit 1st Annual Pinnacle Award for ‘Best Blogger’. Of which, I am truly grateful.
Booth Traffic
All I can say is, wow! The show floor traffic was amazing. The Forge booth was constantly filled with affiliates, merchants, and everyone else in between, all wanting to learn more about us. We had a 42 inch high-definition Plasma TV on display to give away (announcement coming soon I think to the winner). The best part was, it had one of Forge’s customers products, Gallery Player, displaying on the screen. If you haven’t seen the GP product, it’s stunning, and hey, it converts even more stunning, go sign up today.
More updates coming soon, so stay tuned to this blog!
